etab 70 etab 70 – PTFE sealing tape

A strong, malleable Teflon tape used for sealing threaded connections. Has a sealing function and excellent chemical resistance.

etab 70 thread sealing tape is made of PTFE film without adhesive. Due to its low friction, the Teflon tape facilitates an easy assembly and disassembly of e.g. threaded connections, while also having a sealing function. Suitable for threaded connections up to 1″ pipe thread.

The Teflon tape is resistant to most substances, even highly aggressive, although not molten alkali metals and certain fluorine compounds, e.g. liquid sodium and free fluorine.
